Weekly Pick'em Rules
1.0 β Game Overview
Weekly Pick'em is a season-long points game. Instead of drafting one team for the whole season, you build a fresh ranked slate of castaways every episode. Each slot in your slate carries a points multiplier, and your castaways earn points exactly the way they do in Fantasy Tribes. Your score accumulates across the season, and the leaderboard ranks every entry by total points for Season 50.
1.1 β Entries
- You can run up to 3 entries per season β make three independent slates each week if you want.
- You can join at any point in the season. The only "penalty" for joining late is that you miss the points that were available in the weeks you weren't playing β there's nothing else to make up.
- Where to find it: open Weekly Pick'em β Make Picks from the navigation to create an entry and set your slate.
1.2 β Weekly Picks & Multipliers
- Each episode you rank a slate of the remaining castaways: 5 picks pre-merge and 3 picks once the season reaches the merge (fewer only if the cast has shrunk below that). On the finale you make a single pick β just the castaway you expect to win.
- Your slate is ranked, and rank sets the multiplier. Your top pick always scores Γ5, and each slot below it scores one less β so a full pre-merge slate runs Γ5 down to Γ1, a 3-pick post-merge slate is Γ5 / Γ4 / Γ3, and the single finale pick is Γ5.
- You re-choose your whole slate every episode β last week's picks don't carry over.
- Picks lock for the week once the episode window begins. You can view your slate while it's locked but can't change it.
- There is no skip β if you don't submit a slate for an episode, you simply score no points that week.
1.3 β Leaderboard
- Entries are ranked by total points, highest first.
- The leaderboard tracks your placement and how far you've moved week-to-week, and you can filter it by episode and by group.
- Tap any entry to open that coach's profile; tap a castaway to see their Weekly Pick'em profile (points, how often they're picked, and how often they're slotted #1).
2.0 β Scoring
Each castaway earns points for the episode using the standard Fantasy Tribes scoring categories below. Your points for a slot = that castaway's episode score Γ the slot's multiplier; your weekly total is the sum of all your slots, and your season total is the sum of every week. A few things are specific to Pick'em:
- Castaways always score at the default point values β Pick'em has no custom point values and no starting-points baseline.
- There is no MVP doubling and no challenge-score multiplier β a picked castaway simply earns their own raw episode points.
- There are no Edgic or Finale pick bonuses and no jury-winner cap β jury votes always count at their flat value.
2.1 β Challenges
- 1 Point for winning a Tribal/Group Reward or Immunity Challenge
- 1 Point for winning a Solo/Duo Reward Challenge
- 2 Points for winning a Solo/Duo Immunity Challenge
- 3 Points for winning the final Immunity Challenge
- 3 Points for winning a F4/F2 fire-making challenge
2.2 β Advantages & Idols
- 1 Point for obtaining an advantage or idol
- 1 Point for planting a fake idol that someone finds and believes in
- 1 Point for using a fake or powerless idol successfully for your own safety
- 2 Points for knowingly flushing an idol
- 1 Point for playing an advantage successfully
- 1 Point for each vote negated by an idol or a "safe" shot in the dark
- -1 Point for a "not safe" shot in the dark
2.3 β Voting
- 2 Points for voting correctly before the merge
- 5 Points for voting correctly after the merge
- -1 Point for voting incorrectly
- -2 Points for each vote against
- -1 Point for going to tribal with no vote (or losing / not casting your vote)
2.4 β Surviving
- 5 Points for making the merge
- 5 Points for making it to Final Tribal Council
- 2 Points per jury vote
- -10 Points for quitting, getting medevaced, or being removed from the game
2.5 β Consolation & Punishment
When a castaway quits, is medevaced, or is removed, the rest of their tribe is compensated (Consolation) and the castaway who left forfeits points (Punishment):
- +2 Points Consolation pre-merge / +5 Points Consolation post-merge β to their tribemates
- -2 Points per Punishment vote against / -1 Point Punishment voted wrong β to the castaway who left
2.6 β Returning
- 5 Points for getting back into the game (Redemption Island, EOE, or any other return).
For the full edge-case clarifications on every category, see the Fantasy Tribes Rules.
